Creating a real-time status tracker for account pricing review, a process where merchant discount rates are re-evaluated based on past business volume.

This was my team's project for the American Express Early Career Programs Hackathon. Our team placed 3rd in Phoenix. The project we pitched was Amex Wrapped #AMEXpressYourself. Amex Wrapped is an addition to the American Express mobile application. It is a data-based end of the year recap for card users where users can see an overview of their spending, favorite brands, and travel. Users are also assigned a spending personality and card recommendation. The goal of this project was to provide card recommendations that prioritized user needs and act as marketing for Gen Z and Millennial customers.
