I enjoy designing, developing, and evaluating creative and expressive systems—from dynamic user interfaces to creativity support tools.
2. 🎨 designer and artist
I participated in the 2025 Rice Design-a-thon and our team won Best User Research for our application touch grass. I also had the opportunity to participate in GDUSA's national design competition with over 14,000 entries and was honored to receive recognition for my work. A few years ago, I was awarded 1st place in California for publication design. Finally, I have been recognized by the U.S. House of Representatives with a first-place award in the Congressional Art Competition for my oil painting, My Grandpa. These experiences have honed my skills in attention to detail and creativity.
3. 🚀 rocket scientist (?)
Not exactly, but I once led a project through the NASA Student Launch program that involved launching a full-scale rocket to 3,905 ft! I also placed 8th out of 724 teams in the American Rocketry Challenge and represented the U.S. Junior National Team in international space modeling competition.
